[Article] 16.09.2010 Ayu Heads For Breaking Seiko Matsuda's Record, Having Her Song Composed By Noriyuki Makihara

Singer Ayumi Hamasaki(31), she has her songs that will be concluded in a total of 50th single 「L」 (on sale 29th) composed by Noriyuki Makihara(41). This news was announced on 15th. Since July, 2003, this is a triple A-side maxi single in 7 years, and she had 「Sweet Season」 written by him.

Hamasaki, producer max matsuura (President Masato Matsuura) and director talked, so they asked Makihara to compose the song. The reason why they looked for "Mr.Makihara to compose warmly medium ballad song fitting for 50th memorial." Ayu and Makihara, they just greeted each other on FNS popular song festival several years ago, They didn't got contact especially.


Ayu said "Mr.Makihara is releasing many wonderful songs ever, I'm so glad. it was impressive that so warmly softly melody, so I could made-up image soon when I heard it fot the first time." Makihara said "This song is quite different feeling from previous Ms.Hamasaki's songs. Theme is 『Country Girl.』 I composed this song that eveyone has in their heart and obedient thoughts. In Ms.Hamasaki's eloquent singing voice, I'm looking for what expression will appear."


The result of weekly chart is going to announce on October 5th. Ayu is just going to hold the first of 7 days concert at her home ground, Yoyogi first gymnasium in her 12th years of debut.

On both CD selling and concert, we should notice whether she reach a women singers' milestone.
